Maintaining Your Steamshine™ Cleaner
The following steps are designed to help you maintain your unit, and reduce down-time or the need for steamer repairs:
- Always start with a full tank
- Do not over-fill the tank
- Do not allow water to stand in the funnel
- Never add water to a hot Steamshine™ unit
- Never put any chemicals into the unit
- Lightly grease the threads of the air release valve as it becomes necessary
- At least once a year perform general maintenance as outlined in the owner's manual
